If you are worried about sihr, first remember that physical, emotional and family difficulties cannot automatically be attributed to it. Continue appropriate assessment and your clinician’s advice. A believer may seek Allah’s healing and protection through Qur’an and authentic supplications.
What is Ruqya Shariyya?
It is seeking Allah’s help through Qur’anic verses, authentic supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ and permissible words with a clear meaning. Healing comes from Allah; no practitioner can guarantee the result.
Avoid misleading methods
Do not accept inscribed plates, threads, unknown chants, occult ink or symbols, jinn assistance or secret rituals in the name of removing sihr. These are not part of the approach taught here. Avoid practices that compromise sound belief.
Prioritise personal practice
Recite Al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas for yourself. Maintain morning and evening adhkar, prayer, repentance, remembrance and Qur’an recitation as part of life. Give importance to learning Self-Ruqya.
Do not accuse or frighten others
Do not accuse anyone of sihr without evidence. Frightening someone merely after hearing their symptoms is also wrong. Avoid suspicions that damage family relationships. Proceed responsibly and with reliance upon Allah.
